The languages of uBC are now... NINETEEN!
uBC International 2002:
here comes the Serbian!
by Marco Gremignai, responsible for uBC International
In 1999, the article about uBC in the world remembered the "birth" of the International section and listed the translations into nine languages (English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Catalan, Turkish, Croatian and Russian). In 2000-2001, some other languages appeared: Rumanian, Greek, Dutch, all the Scandinavian languages (Finnish, Norwegian, Danish and Swedish) and, last but not least, Tamil.
And now? Well, here another language, the Serbian, thanks to the translations of our partner Darko Milosavljevic (who has supplied many images for the article Zagor in the world).
His first translations are dedicated to the Bonelli character more known abroad - and, above all, more beloved - that's to say Tex (with his description and the article about Tex in the world).
What next? Which will be the TWENTIETH language of uBC? Well, my staff is already at work :-) and I can affirm that the next flag which will appear in the list will come from far away... Besides, we are studying the restructuring of the International section: stay tuned!!!
